Before you begin

Everything you need before connecting your device to HibouAir Cloud.

Device compatibility: This guide applies to part numbers SSD002/1, SSD002/2, SSD002/3, SSD002/2N, SSD002/1N, SSD022/1, SSD002/3 and SSD002/4.

Powered device

Connect your HibouAir device to a power source and remain close to it during setup.

Wi-Fi details

Have the network name (SSID) and password for your router ready.

Sign in to access Wi-Fi setup and the device tools available for your account.

Set up with Android

Connect your device using the HibouAir Android application.

Download and install the HibouAir app

Install the HibouAir application from Google Play, then open it on your Android device.

Sign in to your HibouAir account

Open the HibouAir app and sign in with your HibouAir account credentials. You must be signed in to access Wi-Fi setup.

Open the app menu

Select the menu icon to open the main navigation.

Open Local Devices

Select Local Devices from the menu to view nearby HibouAir devices.

Open Wi-Fi Setup

Open the menu in the top-right corner of the device screen, then select WiFi Setup.

Enter and submit the Wi-Fi credentials

Enter the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password, then submit the settings. A confirmation message will appear when the Wi-Fi setup is successful.

Set up with iOS

Connect your device using the HibouAir application for iPhone or iPad.

Install the HibouAir app

Download and open the HibouAir app on your iOS device.

Power and locate the device

Connect the device to power, stay close to it, and allow the app to discover it.

Sign in to HibouAir Cloud

Use your HibouAir account credentials. Wi-Fi setup is not available in Guest mode.

Select your device

The device list shows available devices and their connection status. Select the device you want to connect.

Open Wi-Fi Setup

On the details screen, select the button in the top-right corner, then choose Setup Wi-Fi from the menu.

Enter your network details

Enter the SSID and password for your router, then submit the settings. A confirmation message appears after a successful submission.

Access the HibouAir Portal

View sensor data and access cloud tools with your HibouAir user account.

Use the same HibouAir credentials

Open the Sensor Analytics Dashboard and sign in with your HibouAir account. The dashboard displays the latest values from your sensor. If your account has several sensors, select the required device from the device list.

Configure and maintain your HibouAir devices from the web portal.

Required for all tools: Sign in to the HibouAir Portal with your HibouAir account and connect a BleuIO USB dongle to your computer. Keep the dongle connected while a tool is running.

Wi-Fi deployment

Deploy Wi-Fi credentials to a nearby HibouAir device registered to your account.

Open the tool and connect BleuIO

Sign in to the HibouAir Portal, expand Tools in the left menu and select Wi-Fi Deployment. Connect a BleuIO dongle to your computer, then select Connect BleuIO.

Scan for nearby devices

When the dongle is ready, select Scan nearby devices. The portal will list nearby HibouAir devices owned by your account.

Check the device and deploy Wi-Fi

Select the device you want to configure and press Check to read its online or offline status. Enter the Wi-Fi network name and password, then select Deploy Wi-Fi settings.

Sensor calibration

Before starting: Place the powered target sensor you want to calibrate near a powered reference sensor.

Connect and prepare BleuIO

Open Tools > Sensor Calibration. Connect the BleuIO dongle to your computer and press Connect. The portal will prepare the dongle and scan for nearby HibouAir devices owned by your account.

Select the target and reference sensors

Select the HibouAir device you want to calibrate, complete the calibration fields, and choose the nearby reference sensor from the list.

Start calibration and follow the timeline

Select Start calibration. The operation timeline shows each stage of the process. When calibration is complete, you can preview the report or print it as a PDF.

Firmware update

Connect BleuIO and scan

Open Tools > Firmware Update. Connect the BleuIO dongle and press Connect. When it is ready, the portal scans for nearby HibouAir devices owned by your account.

Check the current firmware

Select the required device and press Check to read its current firmware version.

Choose the firmware package

Upload the compatible DFU file for the selected device, then select Start firmware update. Keep the device powered, the BleuIO dongle connected and the page open until the update finishes.

Monitor and confirm the update

Follow the operation timeline throughout the process. After completion, the portal displays a confirmation message and the installed firmware version.
