HibouAir ControlHub
Part Nr: SSD060

Follow this guide to understand the HibouAir ControlHub setup, available ports, and configuration flow. The ControlHub extends HibouAir sensor functionality with Modbus connectivity, 0-10V analog output, and relay output control.

How it works

The HibouAir ControlHub has three main features that extend the functionality of HibouAir sensors:

Modbus Connectivity

Supports Modbus RTU / ASCII protocol transmitted over the RS485 port.

0-10V Output

Provides an analog 0-10V output control port configurable from the mobile app.

Relay Output

Provides isolated relay output with NC / COM / NO terminals.

The mobile app is used to configure the ControlHub:

  • Select one HibouAir sensor for input data.
  • Set min and max values for CO₂ and temperature control of the 0-10V output port.
  • Set min and max values for CO₂ and temperature control of the relay port.
  • Define Modbus setup.

Available Ports
Port Overview
  • POWER: USB micro-USB connector, +5V input power
  • MODBUS: 3-pin terminal block connector
  • ANALOG 0-10V: 2-pin terminal block connector
  • Relay Output: NC / COM / NO
  • POWER: 24VDC or 24VAC terminal input
Power Supply Ports

The unit can be powered from a USB micro connector port using +5VDC.

The unit can also be powered from a two-pin 5 mm terminal block port where VIN = 24VAC or 24VDC.

MODBUS Port
modbus port

Supports Modbus RTU and Modbus ASCII.

  • 1 x RS485/422 port
  • 110 - 115200 baud
  • According to the RS485 standard, terminal A is negative and terminal B is positive
Output Port 0-10V and Relay Port
Output Port 0-10V

The analog output port can be set to a voltage value between 0 and 10V.

0-10V Port
Relay Port

The isolated relay port has three terminals: NC = Close, COM = Common, NO = Open.

The terminal toggles when the configured conditions are met.

Configuration Logic
Configuring Control of 0-10V Port

The output voltage is regulated according to the following parameters:

  • Selection of one CO₂ sensor ID
  • Reading of sensor parameters: CO₂, temperature, and humidity
  • Set MAX and MIN values for CO₂ in ppm
  • Set MAX and MIN values for temperature
  • The output value will always be the highest momentary value

Configuring Relay Port

The relay position is controlled by the following parameters:

  • Selection of one CO₂ sensor ID
  • Reading of sensor parameters: CO₂, temperature, and humidity
  • Set ON value and OFF value for CO₂ in ppm
  • Set ON value and OFF value for temperature
