Introducing HibouAir DUO Extended Gas: Going Beyond Standard Indoor Air Quality Monitoring
Indoor air is more than CO2 and particles. HibouAir is expanding the DUO platform with a new product family designed for applications that need a broader view of the indoor environment.
HibouAir DUO Extended Gas combines the core measurements of HibouAir DUO with additional gas sensing in the same compact monitoring platform. Every DUO Extended Gas model includes:
CO2, PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10, temperature and humidity
Depending on the selected model, one or two additional gas measurements are added to the standard sensor configuration. This makes it possible to follow an additional gas together with the surrounding indoor conditions, rather than viewing each measurement separately.
For laboratories, research environments, industrial spaces, environmental investigations and specialized building applications, this can provide a much clearer picture of how conditions change over time.
One platform, six configurations
DUO Extended Gas will be available in six configurations, allowing users to select the gas measurement most relevant to their application.

Monitor carbon monoxide and oxygen together with tandard DUO Extended measurements.
Useful for projects where both combustion-related conditions and oxygen levels need to be followed alongside the general indoor environment.

Add hydrogen and oxygen monitoring to the standard DUO Extended measurements.
Designed for specialized monitoring projects where hydrogen and oxygen conditions need to be reviewed together with PM, CO2, temperature
and humidity.

Monitor formaldehyde together with CO2, PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10, temperature and humidity.
A useful configuration for materials research, laboratories, indoor environmental investigations and other applications where formaldehyde trends matter.

Add carbon monoxide monitoring to the complete DUO environmental picture.
CO and CO2 are measured as separate channels, allowing carbon monoxide trends to be reviewed alongside particles, temperature and
humidity.

Monitor nitrogen dioxide alongside CO2, particulate matter, temperature and humidity.
This version is suited to environments where NO2 may be relevant to combustion, technical processes, ventilation studies or environmental
monitoring.

Add ozone monitoring to the broader indoor environment.
O3 measurements can be viewed together with CO2, PM and comfort parameters to provide more context around changing indoor
conditions.

Monitor hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) alongside DUO Extended measurements.
A useful configuration for environments where hydrogen sulfide may be relevant, including industrial processes, wastewater-related applications, laboratories and other specialized monitoring projects.
Built for monitoring over time
DUO Extended Gas also includes a built-in data logger with programmable storage intervals in 1-minute steps.
The interval can be adjusted depending on whether the project requires detailed short-term measurements or longer monitoring periods. Measurements can be stored for days or months depending on the selected interval, and historical data can be reviewed and used for reporting.
This makes DUO Extended Gas suitable not only for checking what is happening now, but also for reviewing what happened before. Users can investigate when a change occurred, how long it lasted, whether other environmental parameters changed at the same time, and whether the same pattern appears again.
The new HibouAir DUO Extended Gas family will be available for pre-order.
